Unthrottled body on the Buell Ulysses
Home again, home again, jiggedy-jig — The Ulysses is back in the Man Cave after a four week hiatus at Great Lakes Harley-Davidson!

A bad throttle body and slow shipping from H-D were to blame. The butterfly on the throttle body was sticking, badly. Apparently a bushing or bearing was bad, or out of alignment. It did not move smoothly, but would stick, then slam shut with no prompting.

I must say, she was frisky before, but now she's downright ... wicked. Different exhaust sound too, because the exhaust actuator is working correctly.

Upside: Borrowing Jim's R1100RT resulting in my wife demanding another RT, which we are going to get in Boise, Idaho.

Downside: Borrowing Jim's RT resulted in someone apparently bumping the saddlebag and breaking the hangar hook, a $156 ding for the new "inner" part of the saddlebag.

More further down the road on both bikes.
